The highlight of these machines are the segmented toolings at the three bar elements clamping beam, lower beam and bending beam. The segments are fixed to a support rail with Schechtl's patented quick clamping system, making it possible to combine and rearrange any segments in a flash without the need for tools and screws. The single segments can be removed from the support rail to get space for preformed flanges. This makes it possible to bend parts at all 4 sides and to produce closed shapes such as boxes and cassettes in a short time.
UKF – segment bending with XXL free space
The model UKF belongs to the top class of Schechtl’s segment bending machines. The machine has a powerful bending capacity of 1,50 mm steel on 1.000 mm length. Above all does the machine impress with its special bending free space. The UKF is equipped with 160 mm high segments on the clamping beam. Even 180 mm segments are optionally possible. The segmented tools on the bending and lower beam provide additional space with a height of 120 mm. In comparison to the UK machine this creates 100 % more free space. This XXL free space brings many advantages, especially in the production of large closed shapes.
